From Reverence to Rape, Molly Haskell

Going back to this book. Was used as a text book for probably the first film class I ever had and reading it now it's all brand new again and quite wonderful.
Haskell has a way of bringing together decades of history with lots of examples. Very readable, not dry and preachy. Not even just a film book, but a book about how women are treated/have been treated in our society. Glad to be reading it again.
