Hands down the best film I've seen in forever. Female leads (nice!), structure is strange and amazing, reality weaves in and out, acting, production all A-1.

But mostly. Mostly, a portrait of a writer creating a work of art. Mostly, a look at the spirit and soul it takes for a woman to live in the world, create in the world, and maintain some sense of self, of sanity when what the world calls for may not be that at all. Delicious experience. Highly, highly recommended. The best.
